What is this last object of beauty and awesomeness with the red case? Is it some sort of sequencer? I have fallen wildly and passionately in love with it by just looking. How does one get one of these?!
It's a Tenori-on. The only time I saw it in person was when someone performed with it at Piccadilly Circus. It was pretty impressive for a purely digital instrument.
I googled that thing and... now I'm even more wildly and passionately in love with it. In true PS3 / Kutaragi spirit, I'll even take some extra teaching hours to get me one of these and learn how to play it. So, so cool.
Thats exactly how i was when i saw it for the first time, i was just blown away by it & decided at that very moment that i wanted one whatever it took. It's surprisingly easy to learn to use with no musical knowlege but it is hard to master as it's really not like anything else. Most people when they make music on it ends up sounding like a mess (myself included lol) but theres one Italian guy on youtube that gets how to use it, this is the best piece i have heard so far created on a tenori-on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Z3PT2fUiKg This is the other track he created called dreaming, the guy who created this kindly sent me his tnr file so i could play it back on my tenori, he really is good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkhQHY_Lh24&feature=related
Awesome stuff, certainly. I will get one of these for sure soon enough. Apparently, according to Wikipedia, some Mexican electronic music authors, the Nortec Collective, which is quite well known in those circles down here, use the instrument too. I'm checking Mercadolibre (which is full of thieves and overinflated prices and should only be used as a last resort - but it's a good price reference) - and I see that the instrument is available in Mexico. So it won't be that hard to obtain. Neat. I like learning new stuff like this, man.
You mean the big black ds box?? Thats a rpg called Ninokuni it comes with a huge 300+ page hardback spellbook to use in the game hence the big box.
Theres 2 models you can buy, one is a lot cheaper than the other but they both work the same. The original model which is the silver one with the white leds both sides is made from metal & can be run off of batteries or a power adapter then theres the cheaper white model with orange leds thats made of plastic & the leds are on one side only, plus it has no battery option you have to run it from a power supply.
Wow!! I love DS too.. We have similar preferences ^_^ I like so much Ace Attorney stuff, it's one of my favorite saga. I also think you have nice pokemon stuff, and as you know, I love pokemon too Great collection man.. And pretty nice nickname too
Ah thanks, yes the ds is a great console i love it. So many awesome games. My pokemon collection is nothing compared to yours im missing quite a lot of pokemon games for the ds as i stopped after the first two but i do want platinum, gold, silver & black & white, you have some really rare items in there. That pokemon world champoinship DSiXL is amazing plus i spy a mew original ds, i haven't seen one of those in a veeeeeery long time.
Yes, the Mew DS is quite nice ^^ Ok, I've a bigger Pokémon collection, but you have a BIGGER ds collection I'm also going to buy Gyakuten Saiban collector's.. they are really beautiful in case and contents, aren't they?
Yes the Limited editions of Gyakuten saiban are really worth tracking down the contents are really nice, if you want to see i can take pics inside them if you like. Im still missing the Gyakuten Kenji limited editions & they are expensive to get now sadly. Right more pic updates today, took down lots of stuff gave it a dusting off. Mostly my mono/color gameboy stuff & a few other things. Sadly my 3rd anniversairy pokemon gentre gbc used to have a mint box but i have recently discovered that it has been sunfaded on the front pretty badly . Let that be a warning to not keep them in direct sunlight. Only have a dreamcast because of this, it's too good not to have a dc for. Samba is too cool, his crazed smile always cheers me up.
Oh, I would be grateful if you take some pics of the gyakuten collector's.. I always seen them from the outside, not so often the inside.. Besides, great items as ever.. The GB light is one of the console I'm going to buy, as well as some Pokémon DSlite limited bundles.. Damn, there are too many xDDD
Inside the first Gyakuten saiban there is a soundtrack cd, a stylus in the shape of a hand with a screen cleaner & also a book that has concept art, interviews & a comic. The games not in there as i put that on my shelf. In the Gyakuten saiban 4 box it has a dvd with various clips of all the promotional videos they did including the spcial court case segment they did especially for the tokyo game show where you find edgeworth has a pink gbasp hehe. Theres also a second ds cart in the box, thats a digital encyclopedia where you can view the art & animations on any of the characters as well as listening to all the music & a ton of background information on everything.
Very nice. I think I'll buy them both as soon as I can. I just have some GS4 collector's saved in my eBay, it's not so expansive so it will be the first Thanks a lot for sharing dude
This weekend i have uploaded my gamecube collection, Along with my ds & pokemon mini stuff this would be one of the last collections i'd get rid of. I love the gamecube, it had a solid library of games, only reason people moan is because most never imported so they got a fraction of the stuff Japan did. First up is my cube, it's one of the final fantasy crystal white ones but mine gets used. It's too lovely to be just packed away never to see the light. Now all the big boxed games & controllers. Theres duplicates in my collection as these boxes are empty the games are scattered in the other pics. This is particularly hard to find nowdays especially as the 3 piece set, i still have the outer shipping box. It was horrendously expensive back in the day so not many were sold i think. It's a very quirky piece of software & i love it. Walking around temples is really interesting to me, used to sit in bed on an evening playing this looking at all the temples & exploring them. Like a mini holiday stuck on a disk Now onto the regular stuff
Gamecube games are so beautiful in Japan! That's one of the reasons why I love to collect for the system, although it's not as easy as collecting other systems. Your games look to minty and perfect because you bought them all new, lucky you When I look around on Yahoo, it's hard to find satisfying sets because 99% of them look like garbage. I really don't know why there is almost nothing but crap on Yahoo, it's not like SFC and FC where you find some good sets from time to time. But Gamecube-games... forget it, almost all cardboard sleeves look like they went through hell :/ About the Druaga no To-game, I've seen it several times for sale and always wondered what's hidden behind that beautiful retro cover. Is there bonus footage featured on the disc or maybe even a remake of the Famicom classic? Is the arcade version also included? I'm not sure about it, but somehow I had the impression that it was a not for sale item... am I mistaken or is it true?
The tower of druaga disk was originally given away when you pre ordered Baten Kaitos, it just contains the famicom version of tower of druaga. Yup it's a hibaihin game, has a small not for sale on the back. Yeah i was fortunate with the gamecube as i was able to buy them new when they came out, the only one in my collection thats a bit tatty is super monkey ball. I hope to replace that some day, i agree collecting must be a nightmare nowdays as those outer slipcases are fragile as hell.
Today it's all the Sony stuff, yes although i like Nintendo mostly there is some good stuff by Sony too. One of the most coolest of things that Sony ever made was the Aibo, i still can't believe that they killed off their robotics division i wonder at what the new generation of Aibo would have been like. Heres my beloved ERS7 and the Hendregen carry bag thats perfect for keeping him safe, has compartments for everything & is exceptionally well made. And heres my Japanese PS1 stuff, theres not much of it but i do love music games & weird games which the original playstation has a lot of, shame the PS3 went so boring, i want next gen weird games too hehe.
What's the other cooking game called (the one with the grill on the cover)? I already have Ore no Ryouri and despite not really knowing what to do, I found it quite entertaining. Suzuki Bakuhatsu is still high on my list, can you tell me exactly how playable it is? I've enjoyed the opposite game Bomber Hehhe on Dreamcast (here you are actually encouraged to blow things up as) and I wondered if it's still worth playing. If you like food-related games, you might also enjoy Burger Burger 1+2. It's a burger franchise simulation game in which you can design your own burgers, menus are mostly in English too
