Then it wouldn't be a real chiptune track. Chip music is all about using the real hardware. There are many artists who just use retro chip samples/voices for effect, but true chiptune is about making great music with the limited sonic timbre available. I listened to the MP3 earlier and it was pretty good for a first effort. Make an EP and release it on 8bitpeoples
I'm thinking about it. I've still got a lot to learn in LSDJ. I still don't know all the commands and the advanced techniques. I do have a couple of ideas for songs though. :nod: Again, thanks for all the comments, you're all too kind. :lol:
if you get a gameboy flashcart, the rom is depending on how much you think it's worth (aka donate and you get it) but the dev says he thinks 20 bucks for the rom should suffice
i did get a cart. it's one of the carts that they used to sell on 8bitpeoples.com. it's not like an official cart or anything like that. i just found that buying the cart w/ the program on it ready to go was an easier route for me.
