My first xbox pc build, modded crystal case

xbox pc finished

well finally finished the little beast..!!
ended up with a 120gb ssd with 2 x blue 80mm internal fans. also added 2 extra front mounted usb mounts at the front.
running windows 7 and takes seconds to boot up.. great little pc and im so pleased with my first ever pc build...

cheers am really happy with it... i had to build a new pc as i sold my mac to pay for the purchase of my limited edition hulk xbox hahah....

 

Looks awesome mate, Damn you got those usb headers shipped real quick.

With the translucent + blue LED fans design, the whole thing reminds me of those sea creatures in the movie Abyss.

 

Wow, looks nice! Good to see some front USB ports - how did you end up attaching them?

What's the cooling/ventilation like? You should upload a video

 

the front usb ports were easy to do. when they arrived i used a dremil to shave off the side bits that held the screws in and they squeezed into place. then a small blob of glue and i used the original xbox plate to hold them in place. no cooling issues as i didnt use the metal surround that the xbox has and the side vents are more than enough. 2 x 80mm led fans are probably way overkill but i just like the way they look.also modded the original eject button for the power on and off button

i just dont like it when people do stuff to rare cases, i moded my green one but i wouldnt convert it to a pc

 

but the crystal xboxes are not rare..!! i wouldnt do this to my hulk edition xbox thats for sure but the crystal boxes can be bought for pennies, this one i modded was given to me free...

 

Why is the bottom of the case white? Was that painted white? Clear xbox consoles come with a clear bottom.

 

yes i decided to spray the bottom white to give it a different look
