This is my daily use xbox with 3 750 gig hard drives that has a over 99% complete original xbox game collection on them. This includes all the PAL and NTSC games and all of the japan exclusive titles also. So it is a truly 99% complete collection. I think there is like 4-5 titles that are missing. Drive 1 has games A-M, Drive 2 has M-Z, Drive 3 has sports and all other apps and programs like coin ops 6, mameOX128, chihiro, and lots more. After everything is installed I still have about 45 gigs still free.

The manufacturer O2X modification was only in business for less than a year and a total of less then 200 cases were ever produced in total. There was 3 styles of these cases that were made and this was the very last and least produced version. This version was made for the X3 mod chip and came with the XLCD and extended wires for the X3 mod chip. If you have more info of this case PM me! There is almost no info left on these cases and I cant find any info at all on this model!

When I first got this case it was a total wreck and missing all of the mounting hardware. It was also missing the original IDE cables and needed to be completely rewired. Lucky all of the custom wires that were made for the controller ports and the DVD drive were there but all of the power wiring and IDE cables had to be made from scratch. Basicly all of the black wiring is original and all of the other wiring I had to make up from pictures and know how. All of the hardware was changed also to allen (hex) bolts. As you can see it came out better than it was made originally. I still need to redo the IDE cables. This was the first set that I made with standard 40 wire cables and I plan to redo then again with 80 wire IDE cables. This also did not come with the hitachi 8164 DVD drive. It had a broken standard XBOX DVD drive. So basicly all I used was the bare case itself!

    Version 1.4 motherboard
    128 RAM upgrade
    X3CE mod chip
    XLCD
    (3) 750 gig IDE PATA hard drives ST3750640A
Hitachi GDR-8164B PC DVD drive converted for the XBOX

So much faster. It has been really reliable so far, of course I had to flash the firmware to get it to read the original games. But I would never go back to a normal DVD drive again. So I would really highly recommend it. The samsung 616t is also really good and it will work with a virgin xbox. This drive will only work on modded consoles.

I've always wondered this XLCD shows free memory only in xbmc, or also when running games?

The hard drives are controlled by 2 switches. Only 1 hard drive can be booted at one time. If you want to use a different hard drive you have to shut down and flip the switch. The switches really just control which hard drive is powered on. So it is pretty basic how it works. I wish they all worked at one time or could be raided. Basicly it is the same thing as a xtender kit.

The XLCD does not display when playing a game. It is just blank at that time.

Really? I think that is awesome! How did you get it to display the health and ammo? Was that a patch for the game?

Thanks guys for the compliments. I also added a set of USB ports on the side where the company made a extra switch hole that was never used for anything. It drove me nuts looking at it so I cut it bigger and put the dual USB ports. After I swap the mod chip I will take a updated pic and post it. I have a lot of other custom xbox consoles to finish building also.

My grandma just passed away and about a week and a half after that my grandpa passed away also. So I have been tied up going back and forth to new york from florida and I have not been able to get much done and I even have a couple of customers systems that need to be finished and shipped out. I am gonna be heading back home in the morning and I hope to get life back on track and this beast finished also!

I also wanted to tell all the people that have PM'd me about maybe selling this machine. It is not really for sale right now and I do not know where to get another one like it. The company that made this was only in business for less than a year and I have heard that there was less then 200 of all the cases made and there was 3 styles. This was the last and only model with the LCD and I was told that only 20-30 of this model was made. I have had offers of between 600-800 dollars already and I am not ready to let it go yet. So it is not the price point. I have over 600 invested already in it. The console was a total wreck when I bought it and I have replaced every part on it and totally rewired it also. Only the shell and fans are from the original owner and that is all!

I love that movie! I know that is a lot of money but it is a really rare piece of xbox history and it is not everyones cup of tea. But for those people that love the modded stuff this is a holy grail item. Myself I like the XBcase a little better but I would not want to let this go because I know I cant replace it ever.

Thank you hex1gon! It has been a really hard struggle to be honest. I am the oldest grandson and the whole cleaning of the house and all the hard work and running around has been left to me. I really do not mind since it was mt grandma but it is funny how all the others seem to be to busy with everything to help me out!

I understand what you're going through, it's a very lengthy and tough process. Stay strong :)
