Heh, yeah those Saga DVD's are all over the place. It was a hot item when it came out. The HMV sleeve is awesome. You should post a pic of yours I'd love to see what little sketch Shinkawa did.

 

ok viollentsnake I was sorting out my collection of games tonight and found my MGS pre order stuff so I took you some pictures. Remember The reason why I have keep these in the same way I got them is because MGS for PSX was the very first game I pre-ordered so I thought I should keep the stuff as a momento type.

Awesome pics, thanks man. It's common to see the artbook/notebook but the other 2 are pretty rare. If you ever sell you know who to contact. Very nice!

Believe it or not, I actually still have quite a few rare items in transit including some rare promotional poster templates for posters that were released and some CES game show posters.

If anyone thinks they can help contribute to the "museum" I have a deeeeeep paypal account so drop me a note. It's gotta be pretty rare however or else chances are I have it heh.

Heh, thanks. Yeah it's been a long time collecting, and there's still alot more I'm hunting. Hopefully MGS5 doesn't come out for a while so I can catch up heh.

New figures are on the way this summer too. Kubrick and UDF. Can't wait for those, I'm gonna need more room. Actually with all the new posters and banners on the way I'll have to expand out of that room, hopefully my wife won't mind heh.

Im sure you've heard it many times but your room is awesome, a true shrine to the game franchise.

 

Heh, well, I've only had the house for 2 months now so there hasn't been time to get it messy. Metal Gear is an amazing franchise to collect because of the variety of the items, and some are so rare they have print runs in the double-digits. It took me a long time to find the display case, and trust me, that thing cost me more than any MG item ever has.

I'm really trying to focus on hunting down some rare posters and banners from game shows (like E3 or CES) and developement samples. Sample ROMs are REALLY hard to come by (usually on MSX) and go for about 40,000+ Yen on Yahoo Japan.

But yeah, if anyone can ever help me out with something - even if it's a link where to find something, I always find a way to pay someone back the favor.

 

looks great. Sure are a lot of collections with themes. The first nes MG is still my favourite metal gear (yeah I know fans disagree)

 

Heh, well, if they ever remake it I'm sure alot of fans views would be swayed.
