Well after sometime...ive finally updated my old crappy tripod website,....im still not fond of it....you can visit it at http://www.tdwinteractive.tk and yes, i am developing some stuff...and no, i cannot tell you at this time...soon.. i was wondering if you guys have any recomendations for a good free web hosting site...i like tripod, but i dont have the freedom....im lookin for a place that could let me import my own dreamweaver stuff.....basically a blank canvas site lol.... to make it short...im in the need of a good web host... phew....i thought i screwed something up..yea i like the design...but i dont get the satisfaction of sitting down for 5 hours and building my own page to my own spefications.....ahhh what bliss....i also like thats its .tk not this.that.this.again.com crap....its simply the domain.tk ...though .com would rock..too bad im a cheap ass..lol
Look at your ISPs hosting. Most give around 50mb, which isnt huge, but its normally ad free with a plain ftp upload, which makes life easier with dreamweaver, and comes free with your internet connection Also, you need to run a few of the pages through a spellchecker - looks very unprofessional with poor spelling
Mind posting the actual link? .tk doesnt work on roadrunner. And there is no great free webhosting. Pay the 6 or 7 bucks a month and you=happy
thanks guys...steadster...yea i know its highly unprofessional...never was good at spelling...it was just a quick job...i plan to redo it this weekend or when i get sometime...as for free gosting from my isp....would it be located on their website..or is it a "phone tech support" i guess it depends on the ISP... Man Ryan, get rid of Tripod. Damn pop up windows are annoying. Seriously, I pay like $15 a month for mine with 50 gigs of transfer and 3 gigs of space. surpasshosting.com Check it out.
I use Surpass as well, I get 100GB/m bandwidth, and unlimited space (well, they say it's "only" 5GB, but the meter say's unlimited)
I still get a "page does not exist" from firefox. Is it because I'm using firefox? Actually, it doesn't come up for me on IE. It could be your ISP or something on my end, but i doubt that.

just a little update...progress is moving slowly...ive been mulling over designs, and will eventually come across a good one...till then........content for the site is being arranged.....
