only played it back in the amiga-times. was a short fun then, but can't really imagine if it still would be nowadays.
yes, i have it already but only the cartridge... can be seen on the big collection pic to the right of the japanese Megadrive version.
Nice looking little collection there. Just as a name drop, I used to work with the coder who wrote the GBA version, good coder and I think he works for Sony now.
Just two more Robocods... it's more PS2 and NDS releases. The NDS has different artwork, the snowlandscape is gone and now it uses the same artwork as the PS2 do... maybe they changed it to fit the season?:icon_bigg And the PS2 one is now realeased by "System 3" insted of their budget label "Play it", i have no idea why but maybe they have abandoned "Play it" to promote "System 3" more? I tried to goggle about but no info found regarding it. Here is an pic of all NDS and PS2 realeases side by side for comparison:
heh, I've been playing Pond years ago on my CD-32(I still have it), although nothing spectacular and far worse than let's say Soccer Kid, Superfrog or Brian the Lion, it was alright. impressive affection ;-)
I never knew there were so many different releases for this game! I wonder why they keep porting it. I guess because you keep buying it? Just curious, why this particular game? Why not the whole series?
Yes sometimes it feels like they release them just because i collect them I only collect the second in the James Pond series... the "Robocod" one, as it's the best of the four JP games and i also want to restrict my collecting habit
Maybe something for you Stefan: http://cgi.ebay.com/James-Pond-2-RARE-NEW-SEALED-Sega-Master-System-Tec-Toy_W0QQitemZ110110820343QQihZ001QQcategoryZ112779QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem
I'm surprised to see a collection devoted to this series. I got a free tour of a EA distributor here years ago and they gave me Robocod 2 and Rolo for Genesis both free. I couldn't enjoy either one at all cuz they felt so drab:lol: And James Pond seemed impossible and lasted forever. I felt ripped off even though they were free, that's how much I hated them! I can't beleive it claims "better than Sonic or Mario" on the case. Sorry to go off of the post a bit but I had to vent my anger
Dias (also used in Germany) are called "slides" in English. But I had to look it up as well^^ Whats on the other slides? Shots from different stages of the game?
Thanks for the translation And yes they are showing ingame pictures... the photos was taken when there was movement so some characters look fuzzy, it don't look so professional
Diabilder is a name I know , in digital terms it is called slideshow in English. But I know those little pictures, some of my family had a projector to those pictures. Edit. Slides, thanks a bunch for that word now I have learned a new word in the English language
