Thanks to all of you who commented on my first paintjob. If a mod would like they can delete my first thread. My car last night didnt sell So today I kicked it up a notch... and redid the whole disign on a Skyline GTR! The new MegaLine is a hell of a car Here are some pics let me know what you think. I am very happy with this one and I think the only other thing I am going to do is make a E-Tank symbol to put on the gascap. Sorry if my pics are a bit big, they came stright off the Forza2 website.
I think the designs are best if you design them on the hood of the Mini cooper or something, since its a flat surface, and then transfer it to your car
I actually do that. I use a Lancer Evo though as its almost as flat but the hood is bigger. I made all the Sprites on a white EVO then I saved each one including the text as a layer pack (or whatever they are called) Then I made the base of the skyline and imported them. If anyone on here plays forza and wants a copy of the car all I ask is a car in trade that I can sell for the cost of the skyline as Im broke in game and only 40% through single player. I plan to be making lots of 8bit cars in the next year as I like to do them. I sketch out the sprites on Graphpaper (1 square = 1 pixel) then I color each pixel to match. Then in game I make a single layer thats a black square and is 3x3. I then stamp it around the outline of the sprite and fill in as I go
