Can't believe you're selling/sold off your entire collection! Kudos for working towards your dream though.

Shame you deleted the youtube vids of your game room, I'd have watched that again.

So what happens once all the games have gone? Do you have a blog or something?

Thanks, yeah it's funny how priorities in life change and one has to try and follow their dreams as we only have one life and it's not that long really.

Yeah that was mainly a matter of them being a distraction to me, I want to use the internet a bit less after the games are gone. I know it sounds silly but it just made me feel better getting rid of them all.

I only have one more lot to list and it is a very small lot indeed, probably only about 30 games and everything is gone. I started a new channel as I enjoy making videos. The new channel will just be about our move to try and be self-sufficient. I only have one video thus far and will probably not upload much until years down the track when we actually make out move. The one video thus far is of the block of land that we purchased last week, which is obviously the first step done and dusted: http://www.youtube.com/user/SenorTroglodyte/videos

Not silly at all. We've become slaves to technology and material possessions, so I really respect what you're aiming for.

I reckon you should set up a simple blog, or maybe shoot quick update videos now and then. It would be cool to see your progress as and when things happen, rather than down the line when you say "We're here, we did it!". I'm sure it'll be challenging and would love to see how things develop... building the house, the preparation etc.

Yeah I will definitely vblog it all as it happens like whenever we go to the block. Once every year or two we plan on going down to do something to the land and when that happens I'll upload it to that channel indeed. Thanks very much for your kind and encouraging words.

Yeah it's all gone now, took 9 months exactly to sell. i was so sick os listing stuff towards the end I almost felt like just giving it away, ha ha.
Yeah to get any decent money it had to be listed separately. The entire collection was made up of about 1300 pieces which was boxed games, accessories and system. I doubt I could have found someone who could afford the whole thing or would have paid what I would have wanted for the whole thing. I just wish I kept track of how much I got for it all, but it was too much to list let alone track. All I know is it purchase 2 acres in Tasmania s my dream retirement block is secured!
