My Sonic collection

First I must say sorry if I'm not allowed to post a non-game collection here as I noticed everyone on this site is into games, and I'm not (I shamefully only have around 18 Sonic games). Anyway as Sonic's a video game character I thought I may as well show pics of my collection on here as my collection is so big, if it's not allowed then feel free to close it. I LOVE to collect Sonic items, I've been a collector for 2 1/2 years and I've managed to get quite a few items in that time, here's some pics of my collection:

Very, very cool collection. Some of the shirts are awesome! we've got a couple other Sonic collector's here on the boards. A quick search should bring up their collections.

 

Thanks! =) Once I've gotten almost all the Sonic plushies and figures I'm after then I'll definitely be going for the Sonic games, especially the rarer ones such as SEGASonic Arcade, Knuckles' Chaotix, Sonic's Gameworld, the rare Game Gear Sonic games, etc.

Thank you! Yeah, those Sonic shirts look great but I really need to get more, especially the original 90s Sonic shirts. I found 3 Sonic collectors on here, always nice to see more people who collect Sonic stuff! =) I would post in their topics but it was too long ago.

 

Now that is some serious Sonic love ! Fantastic collection for sure ! How long did it take you to get all of that together?

Thanks! Yeah I got all that in 2 1/2 years, I started collecting in September 2005 but it wasn't until I started buying on ebay in July 2006 that I became addicted.

No, I don't. I haven't actually heard of Knuckles' Chaotix comics, although I do have some of the Archie Knuckles issues, I'm not a huge Knuckles fan to be honest so I haven't even read them. XD

Oh wow that's a great collection! You see that grey Sonic folder on the shelving near the cap and the mug? They did bedsheets in that style, and I used to have them. Same with the pencil case, biros, bags... they even did Sonic shaped spaghetti hoops with a Marble Zone graphic on the outside!

So, two things have come from you sharing these lovely pics -

1) I've always been a nerd
2) It's weird how you suddenly remember stuff when little things jog your memory.

 

No there's actually only one machine, but they have interchangeable plastic sheets that show the jackpot amount. And then you can set the switches inside to change the play/win amount.

Thanks. =] Yeah, my mum bought that Sonic bedcover in a charity shop once and another at a carboot sale, I'd of love to have used one but I was too embarrassed to admit I wanted to use a Sonic bedcover, so they got sold on ebay. =( I have the matching pencilcase to go with the folder but I still need to get all the stuff to go in it like the biro, ruler, etc. I've seen a pic of the Sonic pasta shapes before, I'd LOVE to get them, and any other Sonic food packaging because it's all rare and unusual, but I hardly ever see any of it for sale. ;__;
