    Wow, awesome collection! :eek:h:
I have a room similar to yours, except it's not Sonic but Japanese Pokémon stuff... and less posters. ;-)

Anyway, keep up the great work!

Here are the pictures you asked for. Sorry it took so long, it's been a very busy month for me. T-shirt is still in mint condition as you can see. Pictures were taken with a flash, it looks better in real life. It has never been worn or washed. The size tag is missing but it was already that way when i bought this t-shirt 15 years ago in Spain.

Awesome! I might be interested depending on what the price is of course, I've just spent £250 on a Shadow plush so I haven't got much left. XD Do you have any idea of the size? basically would it fit a thin 16 year old girl which I am? lol I need to find a decent Sonic T shirt to wear to the Summer of Sonic meetup in London.

Great collection, mostly 90s stuff which while tacky by today's standards is way better than the sonic crap they make these days.

I had a big collection of sonic candy, specially gum. I still have some of the cards but thats it, since after 16-12 years none of the candy is edible. I also had some icecream but I lost it all during a blackout.

What I do remember were the tshirts that said "dude with a 'tude". Man I thought those were so cool back in the day. Maybe 'cause I was a kid and I didnt really cared what others thought about me.

I still dont, but sadly when you're an adult what people thinks about you may affect your career...

    LOL WUT?

hey sonic fan, awesome collection! I think you bought a sonic plush off me once, he had the SA2 trainers on and was made for the 10th anniversary? :) If it was you I'm glad to see he's gone to a good home, he was one of my fave items ever! Broke my heart when I sold all my sonic stuff but ah well, what will be will be ^^

Thanks, I totally agree, the 90s Sonic stuff is my favourite!

Ahh lucky you, I always look out for Sonic food packagings on ebay but they never come up for sale, I don't know why but I find stuff like that really interesting.

I think I've seen that one before, I never wear my Sonic T shirts out either because I always worry about what people think of me and it'd really hurt my feelings if someone said something bad in real life about me wearing a Sonic T shirt.

Thanks! =) Those pics are outdated though, I've just edited my collection pics and updated them with new ones. I remember you! Yeah that was me who bought your SA2 Sonic plush, I also bought a few other things like the Amy pencil topper, Sonic wallet and Sonic & Chao figure keychains from you. Mine too! Honestly out of all the Sonic items I own the SA2 Sonic plush is my most favourite item, reason being Sonic's my favourite character and he looks VERY much like him, I remember he was the first rare Sonic item I bought and I was going to do ANYTHING to get him because I was desperate to get a Sonic plush which actually looks like him, so I was really pleased to win yours. =) Because I was so pleased with him I decided I wanted more decent looking rare Sonic plushies, 2 years later and here I am with a whole room full. XD Aww. =( Why sell stuff when you don't want to then? I could NEVER part with any of my Sonic stuff or anything else if I like it that much.

Yeah, 3 years may sound alot but I still think I've gotten quite a decent amount of Sonic stuff in that time.

unfortunately, school bills and living costs took priority :( Plus it was starting to get to the point where it wouldn't all fit in my room anymore! XD And unfortunately when I sold it off I just slowly lost interest :( But I'm really glad to see some of it has gone to a really good home! And it's great to hear the SA2 style sonic has a pride of place!
Now I think about it I may have one or two items left, I'll dig around for you :)

Aww that's a real shame, I hate to see people lose interest or stop liking Sonic. ;__; I agree though, I have problems fitting all my Sonic items in my room aswell, well plushies and figures are alright but I can't buy anymore posters as I have no more room left, only 2 spaces on my low ceiling. =( Ahh cool! Let me know if you find them, I might be interested!

Well I think the problem is that Sonic used to be the Halo of the 16bit era, a cool character that became a media phenomenom.

But since 2001 (7 years already! fuck!) it became more and more bland, to the point that its nothing but another empty franchise.

Mario isnt that different either, since 64 we didnt get a decent game until galaxy, and that one couldnt erase all the crap released between the two.

Zelda on the other hand makes a better example of what the Sonic franchise should do: release a game every 3 or 4 years (instead of every year) but with a level of quality that makes the entire industry talk about it (instead of one mediocre, rushed and buggy as hell only kids and fanboys care about).

After all until Heroes every Sonic game was considered a AAA game and raised the bar on the platform genre.

I totally agree with you there, I admit I don't really bother getting the new Sonic games until they've been out around a year as I don't really care for them because they're always crappy and I don't have all the new consoles to play them on anyway (I'm not really into games anymore). I just like Sonic as a character and not because of the games, it seems VERY few people are like me because all everyone else cares about is the games and if they carry on being crappy then they dislike Sonic, I however care very much for Sonic as a character which is the reason why I collect anything to do with him, because he makes me really happy, not because of the games.

I think Sonic as a character was ruined the moment it started speaking...

Quite often I see the Jak series (and characters like Daxter) as what the Sonic series should've become with the jump to 3D. While even in SA2 most of the dialog was borderline unbearable (and in every game after it was straight unbearable) in the Jak games when characters speak is kinda entertaining most of the time, some jokes are dull but that doesnt make them unfunny, and yet it never loses the serious aspect of the story.

But Jak lacks the kind of attitude Sonic had/has, maybe 'cause it looks like a troll doll, but who knows.

Long story short, the series needs a complete makeover, pronto.
