So not much of a NES or SNES collection to speak of. I've only in the last month or so started to collect for these two systems. This is what I have so far.
Great stuff, im also envious of your 3DO collection, fancy selling me one of thise FZ-10's on the cheap?! heh. What is the system on the left under the last lost of 360 games? They grey one with controller overlays...cheers.
That's the Radofin 1292 Programmable Video System. It shared shelf space in most local stores with the Intellivision. So here in South Africa in the early 80's it was easily obtainable. I stand to be corrected but I believe in other countries it went by different names like Acetronic and Audiosonic.
So I decided to post some pics of my PC collection as well. The pics I have taken are of some of my older big box packaged games. Nothing great, I mean it's mostly sports titles but there are a few decent ones there as well. I'll post pics of the rest in a little while.
So this is where I do most of my gaming and watch dvd's. I got a big projector screen set up and a desktop projector. The one in the pic does 720p, but I've also got a Sony that does 1080p that I only use mostly with the PS3 and blu-ray's. I'm thinking of getting one of the projectors ceiling mounted sometime soon. Some of my games are kept here, the rest are in an upstairs room.
nice collection but that looks a little more thatn humble! looks like you like tomb raider huh? is that bleemcast the same as the leaked one? if its not would you sell it?
Yeah so I've been told. The thing is that when I first found this forum the first thread I saw was one of this french guy-Kaori showing off his console systems and other stuff. So I thought that uber collection of his was sorta par for the course over here. lol I'm not quite sure what you mean by the leaked one? This is the one I have. Speaking of Dreamcast related stuff, I got this near mint black version DC recently. Got a decent deal on it too, so I'm pretty chuffed about that.
havent seen tooo many black dreamcasts! oh by the leaked version there is a downloadble cdi selfboot of it on the internet and some people there is more versions! were did u end up getting a copy i havent seen any real life copies
Check out a US eBay seller by the tag of 'games_for_sale' I reckon he should still have stock of these packaged bleemcast discs.
that black dreamcast is awesome. i don't even have a dreamcast, and you have a mint condition black one nice collection indeed and quite far from humble.
So save up a little and try to get one! :icon_bigg As everyone here will probably tell you- The DC is an awesome system. Thank you It will be a little less 'humble' soon enough when I manage to put the funds together for some TG 16 stuff. Got my eye on a mint TurboExpress unit, as well as a PC Engine Duo with a CoreGrafx I system that will come bundled together with the Duo.
i'll see what i can do as for dreamcast if nothing else, then just to get to play chuchu rocket once again..... (the sweet memories~~)
So I managed to get another console to add to my meagre N64 collection. This Pokemon Pikachu system only set me back $20, so I reckon that's a pretty decent bargain for a mint condition system.
Well part of that shipment has arrived. Still waiting on the TurboExpress. I was advised to go for the Duo-R or RX version as apparently they tend not to have the sound problems that the older Duo's suffer from. But I was offered a really mint PC Engine Duo with a CoreGrafx I unit also included in the sale at a really great price. So I jumped on the deal and I'm also relieved that upon testing the Duo out I found no sound issues at all. Seems those old capacitors on this unit are still going strong. Looking forward now to building up a decent collection of games for this system.
So the TurboExpress system arrived today. It's in pretty near mint condition with no dead pixels or any sound issues at all, so I'm glad about that. The seller also included a few games, a carrying bag and the tv tuner, so all in all it was a pretty decent deal.
