F Zero may be my favorite rancing franchise of all time next to Ridge Racer and the fact Miyamoto refuses to make a new one infuriates me.
I am glad to see RUSH 2049 for the 64 getting some notice. I always thought this game went kind of underappreciated lumped in as an average Midway racer for the time like the Cruis'n series. In this thread though it's getting unanimous praise. IMO it could easily be a tie with Mario Kart for the #1 spot.
I wouldn't go that far, but it is midway's best throw at a racing game. All Rush games were fun, but many seemed rather amateurish. Rush 2 looked the worse out the of the bunch, Rush has it's charm and it was a very good port of the arcade.
