well i opened the main image, extracted the S_Zelda.tgc, converted it with the tgctogcm tool to S_Zelda.gcm and opened it again with the gc tool. the screen shows the content: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/192/52489843.jpg/ i think its the wrong file, isn´t it?
indeed, it was the wrong file. the right one is called "zlj_f.tgc", at least there are two .n64-files in it:"urazle_f.n64" and "zle_f.n64" i´ve replaced them with two other n64 games (kirby and banjo-tooie),closed the gcm, used wiped gcm fixer to create a 1,35gb file and burned it. the result: a black screen what have i done wrong? my two n64-roms were a .v64-file and a .z64-file, i just renamed them to .n64. was this ok?
Well, Banjo-tooie, to my knowledge, doesn't work anyway. You shouldn't have to use wiped gcm fixer, my experience is that the converted tgc with replaced rom/s works as is, but I never burnt the games and ran them that way...
before using the wiped gcm fixer my nero burning rom gave me a notice, that the image is corrupt. that´s why i decided to use the fixer. when replacing the .n64 files i clicked "no" in the window which asked me, if i want to change a certain size. don´t know if this was a good choice.
i´ve found a collection iso http://www.epforums.org/showthread.php?65521 doesn´t sound very good, kirby 64 isn´t playable and in all the other games you can´t save :banghead:
