    My apologies before hand if this is the wrong forum to ask this question.

    I have a N64 Tristar64 system (clone unit that lets you play SNES and FC carts when plugged on top of a N64 system). Example:

    I was paying close attention to the NOAC portion pinout printed on board, and I was trying to figure out what some of the signals are. I'm guessing some are related to the controller pins such as CLK, Strobe, etc, but I just can't make out what exactly they are. This NOAC supports two controllers.

    It reads as follows:

    A= Audio
    V= Video
    GND= Ground
    5V= 5vcc

    GND= Another Ground
    NES= ?
    J0= ?
    J1= ?
    JC0= ?
    JP0= ?
    JC1=?

    Please disregard the L,R,G, and G next to them, they are the main Tristar64 AV output signals (see pic below).

    I'd like to find out, as I'm looking to replace that side with a newer NOAC . The stock one is terrible. Any help is much appreciated. Here's a pic:

    This is a guess, but I would think that J0 and J1 would be connected to the outputs of the two joypads, JC0 and JC1 are the clock lines and JP0 is the load line for the shift register in the controller.

    The NES line is probably an enable signal that turns off the NES section when it's not in use.
