I'll let you know, I have my Sun PSU working now, just waiting on my supergun so I can hook up my jamma I/O but then I should have all the pieces to the puzzle!
thanks everybody... but first I've to find someone who can confirm it works... till now I'm the only one who has it working, as far as I know I've flooded the best arcade forum with this stuff
Great, nice to know ! Till now I've positive returns from the Naomi side, I've had some problems on the Triforce type 3 and I'm trying to investigate it... could be related to the security pic, needed for the triforce type 3 but not for the naomi. I'll wait for your feedback, thanks ! Paolo
Hi... ok for the test but please wait a moment to test the dip switch thing. I did it and I'm using without problems but I'm reading this thread (http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=24491) about the initial state of the gpio pin and I don't know if I should put another resistor on line with the switch... Uhm... but it seems ok... as always, try at your risk
Great ! Untill now tour test were on a Naomi right ? With or without the security chip ? But you've also a triforce and a chihiro, right ? Both type 3 ? They will need the security chip and it seems there are different kind of chip around so these are the tests i'm looking for now... Hope you'll test them too and report here. Thanks again and enjoy it ! Paolo
i try naomi with chip (without any chip it cant work ?! (or am i wrong)) i have Type 1 triforce and chihiro ... i will try on the weekend
Yes, sure, the NaoPi can load to the Naomi even without a security chip but during the play you've to leave the raspberry pi switched on
Very well ! I think that, using both the types 1 the same netdimm as naomi, the will work without problems and also without security chip. Paolo
A little "up" for my Naomi/Triforce/Chihiro loader named NaoPi. I've released a new version compatible with both the Raspberry Pi B and B+ models. Last NaoPi release is available as always here: http://www.e-venturi.com/jamma/?page_id=1073 Paolo
yes it is ! but what is not tempting me is that it is not working (the upload) EDIT: got it to work it would need some improvements ! e.g. a zeropic is mandatory ....
