I'm curious as to why you want the debug bios for retail gameplay? Don't you have a standard retail setup? If some games are buggy it'd be questionable if it's due to the focus encoder. Does your motherboard have a focus chip? Also what other games have you tried?
no it's an xcalibur and I'd like to use it mainly to be able to use the realtime halo editor only games I've tried are both halos and mademan but I know mademan wouldn't work anyways, just thought I'd try it lol
Xcalibur is a 1.6 encoder I believe. 1.6 systems CAN'T be upgraded to 128MB of RAM, which would explain the issues you're having.
okay, so I took someone's advice about connecting the console running debug bios to a PC that has do hardware (thing runs off IDE drives) and I'm running xp on it. but I am still not able to use the API monitor or even the meta editor. I get an error with the API monitor and te meta editor keeps saying could not connect to (up number here) is anyone smart enough out there that can tell me how to fix this? mainly for the meta 5.3 editor lol
