    You mean you want the hira/kata or kanji for the titles?

    Here you go. Also included the catalogue number and the developers. :p

    磁界少年メットマグ (SQF-MTM) (Thinking Rabbit) (It's a puzzle, no surprise there as Thinking Rabbit did Sokoban).
    クレオパトラの魔宝 (SQF-CLO) (Square)
    亜空戦記ライジン (SQF-RJN) (Microcabin)
    ムーンボールマジック (SQF-MBM) (System Sacom)

    Just use the model numbers as you wrote them: "PC-8801" and "FM-7"

    English to Katakana - Just 1 symbol needed.

    Hello,
    My wife is considering having a tattoo done and asked for my suggestions. There is a WONDERFUL Japanese word, which has the most amazing meaning.

    Tsujiri

    It comes from 2 words

    Tsuji = crossroad
    giri = cut

    So, literally it means 'crossroad cut' BUT, when used in it's traditional manner, it means 'To try a new sword on a chance wayfarer'. I mean, how compact is THAT!

    Can anyone supply me with the Katakana sumbol(s) for this word. It cause quite a fuss in the UK, we were amazed how compact Japanese could be!

    Thanks in advance,
    Sean ;-)

    No if it's wrong blame you for not understanding Japanese. :p Tsuji you got right, but you got 'ri' which is benefit or advantage.

    Giri (cut) is 切り although it's not the standard form of it and as you see it does have a hiragana symbol at the end.

    Amazing what you can find on Wikipedia. ;)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsujigiri for the Kanji and some short but interesting background info.

    So yes, it's 辻斬. Should be popular among Yakuza. I wonder.

    Looking it up again, you are nearly right it still needs ri at the end of it but it is
    辻斬り

    Killing a passerby in order to test a new sword. So says my Japanese dictionary. Although the last kanji is for beheading rather then cut...

    I'm glad to have it confirmed that I have the meaning of it ALMOST right, but can anyone provide the Katakana for the word, rather than the kanji. Katakana is by far the most beautiful script I have ever seen. I know in Japan, learning to write properly in it can be a long process and becoming an expert requires real work...

    Thanks,
    Sean

    Thing is it doesn't make any sense in Katakana, I would suggest Hiragana as at least it'll read correctly. :p

    つじぎり

    Surely 広い積む should be tatooed on that womens arse. :D
