the 3D capabilities of the Neo-Geo Hyper 64 were pretty weak and disappointing. It is not even on par with Sega's Martin Marietta powered MODEL 2 board of 1993-1994 which powered Daytona USA, Virtua Fighter 2 and nearly 3 dozen games in total. The Neo-Geo Hyper 64's 3D graphics look like Namco's System 12 board which is a souped up PlayStation. there is no texture filtering on Hyper64 games from what Ive seen. still, its a pretty powerful board compared to the original Neo-Geo hardware of 1989-1990. I would've loved to see what it could do with sprites more. sequels to my favorite MVS/AES games like Magician Lord, Last Resort, Pulstar... too bad Hyper64 died without any killer games.
