Gonna leave a comment now - this would be great to see translated, and he seems to know what he's doing!

    Great work!

He responded to me and said he would like to do any graphic novels that are on dreamcast.. So i am sure if we provided him a list he would probably knock out the ones he found interesting or doable. I already mentioned Comic Party

I left a comment, it still amazes me that we're discovering things about the Dreamcast all these years later. It's almost frustrating in a sense because all of this progress could've been made in like six months if Sega made their documents on the system available to the public. At least that's what I've been led to believe. Anyway, looking forward to see progress on this.

That's good to know. I'm browsing segagaga domain, and it lists a wealth bunch of graphic novels on the dreamcast. Never heard of Comic Party before. Just watched a trailer and it looks good. I'll be glad with any game he picks for the dreamcast.

    Nice list you got there.

It'd interesting to have "Blue Submarine No. 6 - Saigetsu Fumahito Time and Tide" translated, they say it's a very good game

I thought the game was great without knowing a word of Japanese - to have it translated into English would be something special!

That would get my vote - mostly because it's not just a load of text, but rather a decent submarine/exploration game.

It would also be a lot easier than starting something from scratch because there's at least one decent FAQ so he could use that as a guide.

^This! I agree every single bit of it! I got that game as well and the entire game doesn't really use a bunch of text other than "Save" Go underwater" "Equipment/inventory" "Back to Harbor" etc.. when searching out for breifcases & crates.

Yea, I hope to get it solved soon but I really don't know. Anyhow, I did manage to implement the introduction scene of the game yesterday and would have recorded it if not for said problems, and there now I just sent an e-mail to Yama of What's Shenmue to see if he can help me out. So, I'll keep you updated when things develop. Also, I also post on my twitter when I run into problems sometimes and when I mess around so you might want to check out there from time to time, or send me video game suggestions to translate. Anywhere's fine though, so you can even post here if you want to.

One just has to love the dedication of enthousiasts localizing previous inaccessible games to the masses. Keep up the good work xPearse, looking forward to seeing this project finalized so that -we- can play a 'new' Dreamcast game again!

Hmm, waited over a week and never got a response back from What's Shemue. Got any other recent Dreamcast translation teams I could hit up for help? I don't really follow any specific systems so I don't know of any.
