:::Neon Genesis Evangelion Translation Project (Dreamcast)::

I'd hate to see this project shot down due to a lack of interest... The Dreamcast has a small number of games that would be great to see translated, and here's someone who's willing to dedicate his time and translation skills to these projects.

Well, for the most part it's game specific so that's not much help, but thanks for trying.

Anyhow, all the games files are in ASP format but I have no clue on how to extract or even convert them. Is there anyone in the community I could contact about Dreamcast file extraction?

Kinda forgot about this. However, I contacted him and we narrowed down the files the text are in. The only problem is that I need to export the script so I can then change the pointers and increase the amount of text I can insert, and a few other things. I posted on romhacking for help on configuring atlas for use with it but I didn't get anywhere. All in all, I'm gonna translate the PC version eventually since that and the DC version are essentially the same. Too bad.

 

So has this project come to a halt? It'd be a shame, was looking forward to it.

 

Well, I was just fiddling around at first so it wasn't really a project for me but since I didn't get where I wanted to, you could say yeah.
