Not unles it was a 3G model which there aren't that many of. I know mine is 2G so Japan only even though it's Vodafone. No worry though, I don't go abroad very often anyway You couldn't buy a japanese phone anyway because you don't have an address here. It's a strange system but you can't just go to a shop and buy a phone. You must get a contract with it. Hmm, maybe we should get this back on topic Yakumo
