Hi after all, i had luck again with my permanent searching and interviewing developers from around the world about unreleased Saturn games and now i can present Vol. 4 of my Lost Games Recovery Program. This little puzzler is presented as a playable demo (the game was finished to 60-70% until cancelling) and is from the makers of Zoop (a JP-exclusive puzzler) called Hookstone Ltd. from the UK. Wow, good going! Nice to hear someone going around asking devs got something. I'm still coming up dry. Though the neat stories and personal history are worth the trouble.
The 2mb ISO runs fine on Yabause. I haven't tried it on my real Saturn yet. It's just a puzzle game, so I wouldn't expect such a large size for assets.
Thank you. Maybe someone should move this to the proper section (downloads). EDIT: just noticed the Dutch translation on the back of the PAL cover is faulty... It should be more like: ' "Ferox" is de voortzetting van de puzzelspelserie die is begonnen met "Zoop" - maar nu brengt Hookstone de gameplay naar de derde dimensie...'
And for the french translation, it should be: Ferox poursuit la série du jeu de puzzle commencé avec "Zoop", mais cette fois-ci avec une jouabilité en trois dimension...
And as a conclusion, I can help polishing the Spanish translation. "Ferox" continúa la serie de juegos de puzzles que comenzó con "Zoop" - pero ahora la jugabilidad pasa a estar en la tercera dimensión...
Excellent news! thank you very much for this! I´ve played for a while, and my record is 700 at level 4. Very hard to reach. The trick is to combine more than 4 blocks at once.
