well my new XBox power cord arrived in the mail today. All I can say is "WHAT THE FUCK?"

This seems like a step back into consoles of yester year. Big ass transformer box thing that plugs into the outlet. Big bulky mother fucker. Good for use as a mace while protecting my castle.

    Has a test button...reset button...LED...blah

2 test instuctions and 2 warning labels...

this fucker better not take up 2 spots on my power strip...or I'll have to unplug something...

LMAO u got Ngaged i can't stop laughing

sorry if I am being a troll that is just about the funniest thing I have ever seen...hell maybe one day these will become collectable, since they won't keep this design for any forseeable future...

It amazes me how they still find ways 3 years after release for the XBOX to take up more space

My Xbox was manufactured in 2002, yet the Xbox website will not send a new power cord :?

Yeah. I just called in, and the automated voice verified mine as needing a cord. The website, however, said I did not need one, which is quite weird.

the next recall will be the memory cards, which they will replace with a VHS recorder that attaches to the controller to store the data....and you will have to rewind to get to your early saves

  14. I think they stole that thing from a hair dryer.

and what versions get that cord? MS even said different versions get different cords. I know some people get a cord that looks exactly like the old one.

Truth is, I'd rather have Microsoft do well in the console race rather than Sony.
Ms should be commended for rolling out this recall as quickly and professionally as they have.
