Heck yes! We rule... Well, the ones who donated mostly.. But the whole community through sticking together. The ASSEMbler family has survived with only minor scuffs, and we'll be prepared for whatever else comes our way.
How is it that I am gone when big shit like this happens? I wonder if it is too late to still donate?
Congraturation, a winner is ASSEMbler! Thanks to everyone who helped donate, and to Yakumo for organizing the collection of funds!

Hmm, I missed this totally (that's what I get for bookmarking the forums and not the front page). Glad to see that everything was saved.
awesome community.... dont care if its too late to donate... I transferred the leftovers from my PayPal account - some 6bucks, hoping to help with maintenance and projects coming up in 2006 Happy New Year btw. and sorry for lurking around in the past couple of weeks/months... study&work keep me busy. at last: I read about the hits this page had in the past year. To me it shows what a reference this forum is in the scene. Quantity and especially quality of the members excrets are on a high niveau! :love2:
Nice going! I don't have Pay Pal so I couldn't donate, but as so much was donated, I could as well donate later on when it should be needed again. =)
Oops! Haven't been around of late or I would have contributed. The port to phpBB was feasible, and not losing posts or members, either. I would have been happy to offer some advice there. However, phpBB really sucks in comparison with vBulletin - you're better off this way!
Got the money from Yakumo. I had it sent to a chum and paypal had some outrageous paypal conversion fee. The six hundred odd dollars goes into a bank account, for the protection of our interests. I also got several mail in donations to go in as well, so we'll have close to $700.
