    Please provide correct production numbers if you are going to say someone is lying. Maybe no one wanted the GCs? It's quite possible, given that it's a fugly piece of kit, so then they'd still be on store shelves. Look at the Halo 2 CE: around 200,000 of those were made, but you can find them all over the place. Why? Because no one wanted them. You can find more of those than the regular Halo 2 occasionally on eBay.

    Anybody can get numbers wrong seeing as companies aren't really liberal with giving out production numbers.
    If your sooo great please provide us with official links/documents about the numbers published.

    But calling somebody a lyar is going way overboard, you could have rephrazed that a bit politer instead of coming over like a total asshole.
    Posts don't mean shit here but you could learn some respect and manners for other people this isn't gamefaq's or some other moron forum we like to treat eachother with respect and courtisy maybe you should try it sometimes it might make people take you a little more seriously.

    I was told 1000 pieces of the Jersey+Bag+System.

    I'll tell you what, if you can provide me with an official production number, I'll apologize and retract the number permanently. But unless you have proof you are right, you're basing all of what you've said on your superior "know about Japan", not on a production number. I don't care if you're Japanese, American, whatever. Show me the info that you have that is better than mine.

    A good example of rare but easily found is the STARS dreamcasts. They made very few, however you can find them in bigger game shops, auctions, in the collections of members here.

    And so the quotes:

    "a number of 1000 would sound very odd..."

    Prove it's odd.

    "Sadly, Assembler himself doesn't make a difference here"

    I can accept critical commentary. Pissing me off will not get a similar result.

    I've added a disclaimer. All numbers were based on on the feedback of someone who was selling and taking orders for the unit after the Tigers win. It is not an official nintendo number.

    Comparison of claims on other sites to this one have no relevance.
    If your offense at production numbers is so great, please do some research
    and get more precise numbers.

    We await your results, but until then I will post numbers that
    I get from people, however they will be accompanied with the disclaimer
    from now on to avoid such discussions.

    I do not mind the criticisim I got from kindaichi, criticisim is good. It keeps the site on target and accurate. However, I resent the manner and attitude with which it was done. Quite frankly, I've lost respect for what he says and does.
    Criticisim is one thing, attacking someone is another matter.

    Ewww humbug gamecube

    Out of all the gamecube limited editions that has to be the ugliest of them all. Personally the most limited & beautiful gamecube there is, is the final fantasy CC crystal white edition. Not only does it look stunning it's the most limited gamecube you can get at only 150 units made.

    A daiei hawks edition gamecube would have been much better, mmmm clear black & orange would have kicked ass. Oh & Yakumo hehe you should know that there are daiei hawks editions as you bought me a daiei hawks n64 a while back. They also made a gbc & gba too :)

    I was going to ask, wasn't there a Daiei Hawks N64 in your collection? Those are pretty spiffy.

    In my opinion, the Tales Of Symphonia and Gundam Gamecubes are the coolest of the LE ones. I'm not a Gundam fan, but I love the colors on that one, but unfortinately they are both really hard to find.

    But hell, I'd kill for a Spice Gamecube too. :smt043

    Folks, let's not get wound up by one person's unsutble reply to Assembler's genuinely meant post. His post was cool to see. We all recognise that official numbers for consoles are hard to determine (unless they are specifically numbered like some dreamcasts were - but hell even the xmas seaman is causing a heated discussion...lol....) or appear on the official manufacturers's website.

    I've found a few links in Japanese to the Hashin Cube....from my very limited ability to translate using babelfish I can't see anything that indicates a specific number. It is however clearly (surely we can agree on this) is a limited release.

    If any Japanese readers can enlighten any sutble detail of the following links then please share.

    Would people agree that if Nintendo didn't publish exact numbers on their site then we can't be 100% sure either way? I'm not sure myself either way. It would be interesting to look at Sega's press releases on known limited editions for Dreamcasts and seeing if they specify the numbers.....
