And Ke$ha's music is great, since it has sold millions of albums. I put a lot of time into GT5, but looking back on it now it was some kind of attempt to justify buying it. Granted, this was pre-Spec 2.0, but nobody should wait a year after release for a game to be finished! I am in fact a fan of racing, but that has nothing to do with GT5 being badly designed. The horrible interface, insane amounts of grinding, most of the game's cars being recycled and the roster full of identical Miatas and Skylines are "no big deal at all"? Seriously? Even PD knew there was too much grinding, that's why they added the seasonal events with bigger payouts. Plus remote races, which was even more damning of just how insane the grinding was in the game: people were actually leaving their PS3s on to run races by itself rather than play the game. jp. was the one who said that, not me.
Actually GT5 is bit shit once you weigh up all the negative points. It's not even in the same league as Forza 3 let alone Forza 4. I love cars and racing games so I don't care for platform loyalty but the basic truth is GT5 isn't what it's claimed to be. Right, on with the school boy bickering. Sony such ass, Nintendo are gay, Microsoft are crooks. SEGA RULE

Or he has good taste. That is always a viable option as well. I agree completely with 7Force on this one, & Little Big Planet was the only game that made me feel as if I hadn't wasted $400 on a console that seemingly had nothing (which is sad to begin with). It is just an opinion, & he put his out there. How you can do this & then later when he does the same say he is bitching about everything makes you either a Sony fanboy, or someone who has too much trouble with respecting opposing views. Complain too easily? He brought up very good points about the PSN store getting worse, GT5 having a poor launch & overall quality, & the fact that most games go to Xbox & PS. He brought all of these up to post's that usually said the contrary. If anything, this is the perfect time & place for him to be complaining about these exact things. Ergo, suck it. You complain too easily about others own personal likes & dislikes in the gaming world.
If you don't like GT5 then don't play it or complain. To me it is a good game overall. GT5 is successful as far I concern. Just leave it as it is. Talking about grinding of hours on GT5 career is clear to be expected, already mention in reviews anyway. Look at GT forums where GT fans wants longer hours ingame and more variety stuff. Like I said (GT5 is not kind a game that you can finish it or rent it for a week you know. Plus GT5 is not for people who don't have the patience or appreciate for it.) @Crazy I'm not talking about PSN.. I talking about the PS exclusive games that I prefer which until 7force barge in. It does not make me a fanboy at all. His negative experience on GT5 are his opinions and stuff I said are opinion aswell. You can't expect every games to be 100% perfect or developer's can't pleased everyone either. Plus, I never played Little big planet.
Well, he didn't say that, I did, and you're a fool if you honestly believe that. Basic question: Do you honestly believe Rare would be making crappy Wii Sports knock-offs if they were not owned by Microsoft? And for that matter, as a 1st party why is Rare that concerned about their sales? They're owned by Microsoft (then again, considering Microsoft's history I guess I potentially answered my own question, though that still makes my initial statement true).
No, it's for people who are actually entertained by playing the same races over and over for a pittance of XP to reach the 4,000,000 required to reach level 35 and unlock the next race. Other people may want to stick to games that are actually well-designed and fun to play, such as Forza 4 which has an infinitely better-designed career mode. I don't feel like I wasted my money getting a PS3, but playing Sony's exclusives did made make me feel extremely disappointed: were these really the games that were hyped to hell and back? Yakuza 3 has been a ton of fun (despite its lukewarm review scores, a lot more so than most of the higher-rated Sony games...go figure), Last of Us looks good (even though it has zombies, ugh) and there's a chance of Persona 5 coming out sometime.
The text under my first quote addresses you on the PS exclusives, when I mention the PSN store I am talking about other points 7Force brought up that I assumed you bundled together to form the opinion that he is bitching about things too much. I guess your wording is somewhat bothering to me, but yes, I understand that we are all constantly displaying personal opinions. That's the point, but being civil to one another makes things more enjoyable, usually. I don't expect any title or developer or anything to be %100 perfect. I was just more disappointed with GT5 than I expected. You should try LBP if you are after PS exclusive games. Maybe not for everyone, but if it was that impressionable on me maybe you can get some fun out of it too. Haven't played LBP2 for long, but from what I have seen it is everything & better.
There nothing much I can say about GT5 for now. Maybe Polyphony Digital has carried away too much for some gamers like you. Personally I never liked Forza series at the beginning but I have not tried the latest version yet. I love Project Gotham Racing 4 on XBOX360, best arcade racing game on XBOX360 in my opinion. The Last of us is looking great, Some say it not zombie type but to me it more like I am Legend (film version) However you don't like uncharted that much ? I guess that The last of us might not be your taste since Both IP games are made from Naughty Dog. GT6 is on it way to the PS3, I'm sure it will be slightly better and maybe won't be disappointing to you like GT5 does. Well PSN store is not too great, software it self is crap. I like old version of PSN store but PSN itself is fine to me to be honest. I been using it since early 2007 when I been playing Resistance fall of man and Call of Duty 4 multiplayer all these years and still do now. Well I did bought the original Little big planet for my little sister. when I get a chance, I will have a go. I didn't play every PS exclusive just yet. Again in my opinion Sony has the better line up games.
Trust me, the fact that people can get joy out of things I don't like might be one of the better parts of life. Well, certain things of course are just unacceptable, but you get the gist. As for the topic, I don't think an online only console would bode well with any consumer, so I highly doubt it will be the case. If they chose to lockout XBL Arcade games or something, that would also be pretty unacceptable. Isn't this just a rumor based off another rumor due to someone saying that the Durango Dev Kit requires online? I missed out on a lot of exclusives for this generation of consoles, so I can't really say if one console has enough truly amazing titles on either side to win, but maybe. I have just pretty much moved to the PC completely, as it is the better choice for me. I don't mind missing out on those titles, & plan to play them when PS3's are good & cheap.
Have owned GT5 for a long time but barely played it. I booted it up to try the new free corvette dlc. Got ingame and COULD NOT figure out how to start a quick race and just pick the damn car. I initally got a PS3 to be ready for The Last Guardian. For a long time the only 2 games I kept for it where Demons Souls and Valkyria Chronicles. Tried most of the other exclusives, and while some are ok, most didnt interest me. At least it plays Blu-rays.
Forza holds your hand too much. I can't wait to get my PS3 So many games that are on it I've wanted that just aren't on 360. In fact after Shooting love, Dodonpachi Saidoudou and Otomedius. I'm done with the 360
I'm not ruling out liking Uncharted 2 & 3 much more than the first one, especially since the reviews have been saying the second one is much improved. Uncharted 1 just left such a bad taste to me that it put me off the sequels. I think 5 will be remembered as the Vista of the series, the comparison is pretty apt since both were horrible at launch and took multiple patches to turn out even remotely worthwhile.
No idea why they're releasing it on PS3 when 4 is right around the corner. Then again, since PD's release date is "Winter 2013" it'll probably be released about two years from now. Probably an overestimation of Vista, because I remember it being pretty usable many patches in. This was a few years ago though, and it was probably much shittier than I remember.
The game struggled on the PS3, what makes them think the next GT will work fine on the same hardware? Even with content installed on the HDD it still took forever. They may help the series and it might kill the series we'll see how GT6 goes. I still remember how delayed GT on PSP was, I used to see adverts with GT on the system... Was it meant to be a launch title?
Yeah, GT PSP was supposed to come out in 2005, coinciding with the Western launches. The only things that existed at that point were fake box and UMD shots, though.
