All Sonic Team games with Yuji Naka = also crap $10 says it has extremely gay music just like the first one. For all intents and purposes, they did.
Oh I dunno about that... Sonic 1, 2, 3K were good. I didn't even mind SA and SA2, or ChuChu Rocket. The music from the levels and bosses was good. The j-pop is just cheesy. No little kids singing please.
Yeah, I like the old stuff. I should've emphasized anything after the Saturn days. Even Burning Ranger is questionable... and has an even cheesier song than Nights which is very, very hard to do.
Best Sonic game has to be Sonic CD ! I quited liked Burning Rangers music is a cheesey sort of way. Far better than the out of tune kids singing the NiGHTS theme. Man, that is really awful. Anyway, I'm still hoping the new NiGHTS will live up to the legend (long shot I know). Yakumo
I have found my Sonic-soul-mate. I too believe that Sonic CD is the best Sonic out there, despite most people thinking of Sonic 2 or 3K. For me Sonic CD expanded upon the original Sonic, whereas Sonic 2 took the franchise in a different vector. On the topic of nights, I m reserving my opinion until I play the game. I played the original the other day and although fun for reasons of nostalgia, if the same game was released today, I d say it's pretty shallow and repetative with a few golden moments - in that respect I m certain the new Nights will surpass the original.
I bet you'll have to fly the wiimote around to make nights move, like in SSR but instead of both hands, one and looking like if you were holding a stupid paper plane. Funny I tought SonicCD was the coolest game around......until I played it:lol: I think SonicCD sucks if you want the good ending, since to do so you've to find the time poles, and then explore the past looking around for the badnick's machine (and the holo-mechasonic too I think) which is kinda boring since exploration in a 2D platform game is way too tedious for me. Thats why I think that if SEGA made a 3D remake of SonicCD it would rock, since if the sonic adventure engine was good for something that was exploration, but not high-speed classic sonic gaming...

Everything after SA2 = bad. In fact, almost everything after Dreamcast was\is bad, with a few exceptions.
I wouldnt go that far since theres has been a few games that are worth playing. But overall (as the market as a whole) I agree that things are a little downhill compared to those days...
1up recently in a pod cast bad mouth everything about the game from what they played recently at the german game show.
Do you trust 1up? I'll say that they could be very well correct from the looks of things but even though they have some dedicated staff, they are still a major publication.

Yes I know, Normaly I don't trust the shits specialy since they could not get the basic information about the psp slim correct (they though there was only bundles for sale). Yet they did clearly state the game was running like shit. They've seen enough games to know when a game is running with a crapy framerate and clunky controlls (two things they bitched about).
Honestly the game really is looking in great form at TGS! IGN,Gamespy, Gamespot, JoyStick have all literally given the game the thumbs up. I'm really glad its getting a ton of positive press lately. I was really worried that this would just be a cash in.
1up are so full of themselves, and the bastards are already making a myspace-like site called "What they like" with corporate help so they can get more "information" about what "gamers" (read: idiots who dont know shit about punctuation) want to buy... Expect more GTAs clones and crappy military-themed games to follow as soon as these idiots get popular enough.
I was going to make athread asking if I was the only one who thinks/Knows that Nights is gonna blow. Also, I got sonic rush adventure yesterday and it rules but it's on the back burner becuase of Halo 3.
