I love the clear editions more than all the others. Only other edition im after is the midnight clear blue toys r us japan exclusive edition.

These are my favourite 2 i have

Justco 30th anniversairy edition (exclusive to the justco department stores in japan)

Daei hawks limited edition. The bottom of the n64 is clear black but the flash makes it look solid.

  2. I love that orange/black one. There were also a pair, released in Japan only (of course) that had an opaque white on the bottom, and blue or pink opaque on the top. Wouldn't mind one of those bad boys - I'd even part with my gold console for one. (well, maybe.. :smt043 )

I think my local Game still had some Pokemon N64s lying around till 2002! They were about 60 Euro, though...

That opaque blue top and white bottom one was, I think, available in the UK with Mario 64 bundled in. I bought one cheap at a market and whilst the box shows two-tone console and controller what I had inside is all opaque blue and I've never seen the console itself in 2-tone. Here's a lazy eBay link as mine's up in the loft:

What about the Pokemon themed VCR unit, or even the DVD unit?

    Erm... "opaque" means not transparent/translucent...

Holy crap, I've seen a Pokemon VCR at a local shop for $10. Worth it?

It's been one of those days...

I should have quoted the conversation between Greatsaintlouis and Importaku properly. Anyway, that Japanese blue/white N64 in Importaku's pic looks the same as the PAL version in the eBay link I posted.

Sorry bringing this up again, but yesterday I was checking a local store for saturn games and found 5 of those pokémon n64.
What got my attention was that Toys'R'Us exclusive text on the box, that made me remember of this thread :p
Can't remember the exact price of it

Speaking of Gold N64s, my friend has a Gold N64 controller with a nintendo power logo that he bought/won from nintendo power, I can't remeber which.
