Nintendo 64 RGB question?

    I've actually been thinking of using my 27" LG 1080p monitor in the set up and ditching the CRT. Been reading this site for the last hour or so http://retrogaming.hazard-city.de/

    Plenty of options it seems...

    So long as you've got a RGB modded N64 there are oodles of options these days.

    Eh, your own fault for buying a big monitor instead of a small television, then! Televisions have SCART, monitors don't. So the cheap option you're looking for would have been to have bought a 28" TV in the first place ;)

    Wish SCART were mainstream in USA. Most of the budget TV didn't offer anything but antenna input until about 90's when composite became standard on budget TVs. Component? S-Video? Those comes only in model costing about $500 or more. Back even in 1990's 500 was a lot.
