Hello everyone, I hope that this has not yet been posted and that this is the right place for it. MacroEagleEye from the Gamefreax Forum has created a "Ultra 64" Logo that you can replace with your existing one. Here are some pictures: http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/7317/p1040215jg3.jpg http://www.project-casemod.de/uploads/newbb/572_48e78853b95ad.jpg Can't wait to get one^^
Looks good on the N64, but I seem to do not get the point. The U64-logo has been around for 13yrs, so why is this news?
thats right but this logo is hard to find in good quality. the question here is, from where he got that logo? Is it a high quality remake or a bad quality picture or scan?
Not really, all you need is a scanner and a copy of any NP with the u64 logo, and a few minutes in photoshop. Definately credit is due to whoever did this, but anyone can do it on there own pretty easily.
well even with a scan it take a bit longer than a few minutes to redo it if you want to do it in high quality
You severely overestimate the ability of a regular person to manipulate graphics in an effective manner.
he need to adjust the logo a bit. the word Nintendo is too much on top. The word Ultra is to large: see here:
See, if he would have just used a high-quality scan, and touched it up a little in photoshop it would have been perfect. Dont get me wrong, im not knocking the guy, i was just saying this is something people can do themselves pretty easily. I almost want to go find a good U64 logo in one of my old NP's and try doing one of these but i dont have a scanner:crying:At any rate, id rather have one of these on an N64 than the actual N64 logo ( i dunno why, i always liked the U64 logo more than th N64 logo)
Correct. It's just like the Propeller Area Japanese covers I made a few years back. There are no real high quality covers on the net so I had to re-build one from scratch. Takes many hours of work in Photo Shop. I think the guy has done a fantastic job and a little cash his way for the work is the least people who want the logo could do. Yakumo
