Nintendo DS "Not for Resale"(NFR) Demo Collection

This is my DS NFR collection. I am always interested in selling and trading so let me know if you want anything I have and maybe we can work out a deal! I have many more NFRs than shown in this thread so PM me if you are looking for a certain cart.

Nice collection! I was actually thinking about getting into NFR collection for SNES and N64. Was it difficult to acquire all of these?

 

Thanks! Yes, yes it was. Some of them were really easy to get(ebay) but others took quite a bit of work. I have made a few international trades with people in Japan and Germany to pick up some of the more rare titles you see but now that I have been in the scene for a while I know where I can get almost every cart. The only thing holding me back from completing the set now is $$$.

 

This is a very nice collection.
I only have 1 NFR cart for the DS and another for the 3DS.
I would like to have more but it's not that easy to find a seller willing to ship those to Brazil when you don't know where to search for those carts.

where did you get the clear wallets/holders to put them in ?

 

thats cool, i have tried bidding on a few on ebay, but never won one......seems like you have quite a few dupes, is there any differences between them or are they just dupes

 

I bought them on ebay. They are for coin collecting - http://www.bcwsupplies.com/cat/coin-supplies/coin-page

Some of the dupes are the same and a few of them are different. Some of the NFRs have different variants with different kinds of stickers on the back so you just have to look carefully to figure out which ones are different.

I never realised how many NFR DS carts there was. The download demo carts really interest me.
I would like some N64 NFR carts.
Does any one one if they was made for the GBA or other nintendo consoles? (I am aware of the N64, 3DS and now DS)

No, not at this time. I know about a million just surfaced in China though so that market is exploding. I would be more interested in selling/trading the 1 that I have than keeping it.

I don't know if you remember kyle but I had posted before the migration that you could get Celebi from the Legendary distribution cart.
From what I know now the difference between the Celebi from those two carts is the fact that one of them is shiny (Celebi cart) and the other isn't (Legendary cart).
Here are the dates that you can set on your DS to get each of the pokémons of the Legendary cart:

Raikou 30/12/2010 - 10/01/2011
Entei 17/01/2011 - 24/01/2011
Suicune 31/01/2011 - 07/02/2011
Celebi 27/02/2011 - 07/03/2011

 

Do you know if the ones from china are authentic or are they bootleg? Do the 3ds nfr carts work on retail systems?

 

I think they are authentic and they definitely run on retail systems.

 

They are 100% authentic. They are sent from US to China for recycling but then miraculously they aren't destroyed and are instead sold online. They all work on their respective retail systems except for the DSi demo videos which only run on DSi. Keep in mind that some of the NFRs are demo versions of games and are not retail copies.
