Nintendo patents "Online console Gaming"..

Don't forget to mention the fact no current online Nintendo console even has a hard drive ... how dare they patent that method years ago and not even produce it.

 

CD-i was the first online console, I believe. And then Saturn had stuff, in Japan. Still, Dreamcast was the first easily accessible anywhere ready to go (ish) online console.

 

What about that dial up stock market add-on for the famicom?

 

Yeah, technically, it means that Nintendo had the first console with online functions, but there's a great difference between online banking/stock trading and online gaming.

 

i don't remember exactly but didn't Nintendo already sue other video game makers for having video gamesystems because they said they invented it. And also did Nintendo sue sony resently for the ps1?

 

They sue everyone... as day follows night.
