I've never seen this ever.
Was this for those special downloadable demos/pokemon kiosks?

 

I've love to see some pics of the internals and whats shown on the screen during use.

 

If this is a DS-based device, could you try dumping the firmware and BIOSs, using a flashcart and the homebrew dsbf_dump?

 

The original DS download station just used 3 DS consoles. As far as I could tell, they were absolutely identical to the retail ones - at the least, the download station card worked fine in a retail and regular games also worked on the machines that came out of the download station.

I suspect those units plugged into the download station in place of the DSes, and are probably basically a DS with extra hardware.

Not sure if its the *same* thing, but Nintendo 3DS's had a Nintendo Zone feature as well, was it used on Nintendo DS as well? o.o

do you think you could try to dump the bios/firmware using a flash card or by disassembling it?

1 . it still keep all setting there , wifi setting , parental controls pin ...
2. cool ,come with WFC ID , not sure it a normal or special one , but have one chance use 3DS Trabsfer Tool get ID to 3DS
3. i know people love inside photo , may be do it soon ( may be )

 

is your sensitive info? or info from where it was used in the past?

also, does it manage to download from the internet? does it supply any demos?

 

judging from the graphics in the screen this thing looks like it might be based on a DSi...

 

Yeah, it is a downstripped DSi with only one screen instead of two. Very interesting device indeed!
