http://www.engadget.com/2009/02/26/nintendos-wii-classic-controller-pro-ready-for-japan/ Quite funny really.
Very funny stab at Sony but what is the point apart from a few N64 games? Games on the Wii that use the classic controller wouldn't really benefit I think. Anyway, it's more fun to attach the classic controller to the Wii remote and have that vibrate while you play. Then you and your other half can be happy  Yakumo
Seems to be Nintendo attempt to persuade the third parties to port across the PS2 game to the system, and now they have the right amount of buttons it will be a doddle. Although as it's a blatent copy of the DS pad, I wouldn't be surprised if Sony don't sue their asses.
SNES pad -> Playstation console family controller -> Wii pad  This is what I meant by my previous comment.
I'm waiting for Nintendo to release a classic controller that doesn't need to be tethered to the Wiimote.
The GC controller is not good when playing VC or other emulated games, I find the classic pad more suited. that said, both the GC and the Classic suck for N64 games, this might fix issues by replicating the firm grip but I still have my reservations about the controller stick position - which is a main concern for me even on the Dual Shock and one of the reasons I hate the DS
I can't imagine playing a 64 game with anything but a 64 controller... I'm not really sure why I even commented on the Nintendo Duel Shock, I gave my Wii the boot and don't plan on ever getting one again unless Battletoads gets a release.
It's all been licensed hasn't it? The analog, the rumble. If I remember they all were sued and only nintendo settled early. It wound up costing sony millions more by being stubborn.
funny too, considering that the GC/Wii natively support the n64 pad, no? =) they just need to release a socket converter and a white n64 pad to match
Come on Nintendo, that's bullshit! Can't people just use the gamecube controller? If they are going to bring any more controllers it should just be the awesome n64 controller :110:
