Anyone know this collector?...would be interesting to know about his real collection (not just the picks for MSN)

It seems to be an absolutely outstanding collection that ge got there (esp. the lovely presentation of his home collection), but 30,000 games? That sounds somehow a bit unrealistic to me to be honest except there were either loads of PC-games among them or loads of doubles included in this number.

 

It's the guy who owns www.digitpress.com ....which I'm fairly sure is the largest video game collecting messageboard out there.

I personally don't think that 30,000 is that much. I have 2000-3000ish now....and its more a matter of money that stops me from getting more.

 

Nevertheless it sounds pretty fantastic to me. There are hardly consoles with more than 1,000 games out there and now 30 times that amount? I could imagine half of that though, there was once a guy from Germany affirming he had about 11,000 games and judging by the pictures of his flat I was quite convinced.

 

The whole video made me O.O but then I -sigh-'d a little bit when I saw the Donkey Kong Country Championship Cartridge :[

 

I think the PlayStation outstripped 1k by a fairly significant stretch, not including the multiple regions.

 

those guys aren't very good at Guitar Hero. I thought I recognized that store.

 

I've been to the digipress store in Jersey, but dam I didnt know the owner was this guy

He has a shop on rt 46 in Clifton across from the school(high school?).

 

Damn, wish I'd known about that shop last time I was in NJ!

All these things I found out about AFTER coming home - video game shops, arcades, Kevin Smith's comic store......
