A friend of a friend was moving house and didnt want his fruit machine anymore (dont ask where he go it) so said i could have it, the only problem is he didnt have a service manual and only a set of keys for the back of the machine and not the cash box... he also said it was working perfect when he had it... ive not seen him since,

I turned it on and everything lit up but the LED display kept saying "invalid option" so i opened up the monolithic case and fiddled around with the dipswitches not knowing what anything does and re-seating the MPU4 Board... no use.

I know this is a hell of a long-shot but does anybody know where i could purchase a service manual and spare keys for a Barcrest Lucky Strike Club MPU4 Fruit machine?

I've searched all over google and fired off a few emails (which havent been answered in 3 months) to Barcrest itself.

    Thanks
p.s sorry about the grainy photo, its a cheapo cam

Wow, I think it's be kind of cool to own one of these. Kind of like a piggy bank you could have fun with.

Ok, I figure I'll add somehthing to this....

Well, if you can't open the coin box, there is the offchance that it is overflowing and is shorting something.

As for getting the lock open, that's not likely. I'd just drill it, and hope that it's the sort of lock you can replace.
