yea... that is IF I can find one... should bid for that auction but by the time I remember it was over... grrrrr....
Not sure. I bought it ages ago... probably 5 years ago, and it was dumb-luck that I got it. I was mainly interested in the stack of games it came with.
Aren't you a little exaggerating here? I think most forum members would have severe difficulty getting a working Saturn for less than $30 in their area, unless you live in Japan.
$30 is the exact amount I paid for mine, and the place doesn't sell them anymore . They are incredibly rare around here (not too terribly pricey, though, if you can find one).
I guess we just have an abundance of them by me. I have about ten saturns I got for that price sitting in my basement.
Seems a little bit pervert that playing copies of Radiant Silvergun and Panzer Dragoon Saga on a modded 20Pin Saturn is more special (and pricier) than playing the original versions on a 21Pin Saturn. Anyway - i think the REALLY rare (>300.- $ worth to "collectors") Saturn Modchips are 20Pin only. I've seen some of those Combo chips in the past but never one of those 20Pin only.
