My sister who is staying with Me at My apartment at the moment, and I say at the moment because She is gone tomorrow for this, was on because I had supposedly hacked Her FB. (I did not).

So She went on many forums and got Me into trouble. Ive just got banned on 2 of them.

This forum, You seen the posts. Ive got yet to see what else She did.

That was 100% not Me. She was using my attitude to try to get You to believe She was Me.

It instantly became obvious to me that he was trying to distance himself from that train-wreck of an idea as quickly as possible, before more members saw it & laughed at such a preposterous idea.

Then, lo-&-behold, I stumble upon this gem of a thread. Guess my instincts were right, he was trying to distance himself from it, but the fact he would go as far to lie and say it was all his sister posting. . . wow, I was not expecting a move that entirely lame.

Nobody believes you because your sister coming onto the forum for a day or two isn't likely to understand the implications of alpha/beta sharing to the point where she can feel confident enough to say "(Like 1.5)" in a thread and be certain that the other forumites are going to know what "she" is talking about.

The fact that you've made this thread means that you care about what people think about you and what you post and you're trying to protect that reputation. Realising that your "This should be a rule" post was backfiring you've made an attempt to rectify that by coming up with an excuse that has been used thousands of times across many forums.

What you should have done is just apologised to the people in the appropriate threads and let it be, nobody cares. I write stupid and offensive shit all the time, I know that in the real world people are too busy with their lives to allow my comments to take a space in their memory, therefore I just forget about it and move on. Only takes a few days before the post drops off the radar.

What you've done here is publicly placed a target on your head for every member to see. Even if this "sister" thing is true, there is no way for you to prove it and you should be smart enough to have realised that before you started this thread.

@ccrogers15- this is your own fault. While it was nice of you to try and fix the issue, it's either best that you figure it out that nobody here is going to take shit, or (if it was real by some coincidence) live with people calling BS on this and move on.


I mean really. Take some water and a walk outside, and come back and think critically- How much of an excuse does this really look like at the surface? It's been used before everywhere and is nearly an equation for gods sake.
