Well I wanted it. And the people who contacted oldprogie to buy it were given a link. The guy who created this thread is the one who won it.
I am coming after the battle to get some ODEM card... I have bought also from assembler a nintendo GDEV but we didn't get the ODEM card. If anyone have one for sell i will buy it, we want to port our game to nintendo, so we will really us it What is exactly this ODEM card ? Is it connecting to the USB port ? Stephane. Linux Cyberjoueurs.
Oh dear... :no So you want an ODEM card but you don't even know what it is!!! ...I fear your game port will be ermmmm interesting to say the least. Do you actually know what the GDEV is? ODEM = Optical Disc Emulation ...In other words nothing to do with USB. USB = Universal Serial Bus ...But then you should know all this already imo, especially when you state "If anyone have one for sell i will buy it, we want to port our game to nintendo, so we will really us it " Scary stuff :smt045
sorry was in a rush to leave when i wrote that. for playing stuff off of the gc flashcarts, and writing stuff to the flashcarts. What would I need? I know (think) I'd need one of the red devkit gamecubes, the cart(s), and a writer (does the GDEV box write the carts do just read them).
Mmmmmm for a start the NPDP carts are not flash devices, they are removable HDD/optical emulation devices. Secondly the ONLY thing that writes to a cart is a NPDP-W, be that gang or single or writer. ...They can be read using either of the following: NPDP-GDEV, NPDP-GBOX or NPDP-Console. Hope this helps
