Hi everyone, I've got this ntsc nes, got a bad 72 pin connector with broken pin, I change that for a good one and everything plays well, only problem is with powerpak; I got a noisy buzzing with bad interferences like something is wrong with power or grounding.
with normal carts and nes everdrive everything is fine, no inteferences, no buzzy sound.
With other nes (pal and ntsc) the powerpak doesn't have these syntoms...what the hell could be?

The Powerpak seems to take significantly more current than either a regular cart or the Everdrive - my friend had the same problem, and I fixed it by replacing the big cap in the power input circuit (the one that's built into the RF modulator section).

Surprised it didn't work, because it fixed the problem for me - although I did use a new cap rather than a 20 year old one, which might make a difference since a lot of the caps in SNESs are marginal anyway by now.
