It actually appears that Abe's Oddysee was never actually planned to come out on the Saturn. Allegedly, this is coming straight off the two heads at Oddworld Inhabitants, but I can't find any hard sources. http://www.sega-saturn.net/nr/oddworldabesoddysee.php
Chalk up yet another FALSE magazine claim then.... This will join likes of: John Croudy doing Druid II on A8, Bob Armour doing Gauntlet on the 7800, Thallion doing ST Nebulus II, Lucas doing sequel to Rescue On Fractulas, Atari showcasing 7800 Turrican, A8 Adam Cave Man being seen running, Gremlin converting Technocop to 7800, claims over A8 Elite, Jaguar Quake.... Mock up screens (and/or CGI cutscenes) passed off as actual in-game shots: Jaguar CD:Freelancer and Tomb raider, ZX spectrum Toki+Nemesis..... Coders being quoted who never said any such thing (Harry Holmwood, Psygnosis on evaluating the Jaguar) Pre-release versions that looked far better being reviewed (Zzap 64 and Ocean's Operation Thunderbolt)... Tiertex and their conversions to the Atari Lynx... Is it any wonder games jurnolism still is'nt taken seriousily? For those of us who actively look into lost games, 90% of the work often appears to be simply chasing up B.S claims the Press printed.
