Or should I say, Oddworld Stranger: Wrath of the Wild. Lots more stuff to be added in the coming week, including videos. http://ptoponline.com/?p=1373
I don't know if it's just my setup (linux mint 15) or screen resolution (1024x768) but here's what the player looks like on my pc: http://i.imgur.com/6HeCwpr.png Once I zoom out the whole site it gets into it's right place. Anyway thanks for sharing!
Strange, Ill take a look at some other browsers soon. In the meantime, the videos are combined into one on youtube.com/ptoponline I would wager the responsive setup of the site is at least partially responsible, I havent gotten around to disabling it yet
I've added 4 new images showing more of the debugging text that can appear. They are currently 4 of the last 5 images on this page. http://ptoponline.com/?p=1373&page=9#screenshots Still no access to the debug menu itself, but Ill be digging out a USB keyboard adapter at some point to test out that theory. More importantly though, I've added an image showing that there is, at least, rudimentary multi-player support. I say multi-player and not multiplayer because I haven't found evidence yet of any actual multiplayer mode (although I have my hunches), and functionality is limited to the second controller controlling the character. But I still think it is fairly interesting!
That's awesome, I just recently got the game for my ps vita, the HD version is graphically better (obviously lol) then the xbox version. This game was one of my favorites. Update: I just looked at my original xbox and I found that I actually had this game on my hard drive in 2004. It must have been a leaked copy. I double checked the date of the file... Wynd
Dates can be easily wrong Only way to check the build is to load of the .XBE itself. Id almost guarantee you have the final one, not to say that it couldnt have leaked in December of 2004
Can I have a signed statement that you will compensate me for any and all losses related to the release of this game? Along with taking personal responsibility for the release? Oh, and if I could have your car or bike when Im in Holland, that would nice. A plane ticket to London would be fab as well. The point being these things cost money, and right now Im not willing to go through the headache of a public release nor can I afford to lose the money should I chose to sell the development kit with the game, having put over 1500 and lots of time to even get a fraction of the deal that I was suppose to get when buying this. Should a day come when I can afford to lose money or a job, then sure, I will gladly upload it, but times are changing in the prototype community. Most of the low hanging fruit has been picked, and now things are taking much more time, and much more money, to find. Gone are the days of $50 prototypes with great content on them
No, but the entire deal that helped secure it was over that much. And its actually far more complicated than that anyway
