Of the Now Gen Systems which one gets the most play in your home?

So I'm trying to prove a point here. Although I have a feeling that the results here will counteract my theory (either people will vote just to prove me wrong or I'm just wrong because this is a different set of gamers)

If the results are kinda skewed I'll ask on the other forums I post on.

i play 360 pretty much everyday.

That the realistic install bases are nowhere near what sales charts are telling us. The Wii is the top selling system..........ok yeah.....so why aren't people buying games for it? Why does the 360 have such a high Software attachment rate?

Something isn't adding up here. it's a Conspiracy. Nintendo was behind 9/11 I tells ya.......

I'm also surprised the DS isn't getting many votes....damn fine system there.

 

Who cares. Get a Wii and have fun with it. It's got plenty of fun stuff like the other two.

 

Wii's are still hard to find though.......I tend to impulsively buy things and the Big N (azi) has made Wii impulse buying to be quite impossible.

 

It shouldn't be that hard with all those people selling there Wii's for 360s....huck huck.

 

because if nintendo's press conference was anything to tell you - the people that collect dev kits and hard to find games aren't exactally their target audieence.

news flash Hardcore - Gamers do not make up majority of the world.

The Wii has realized this, and has enticed people who aren't gamers to play games.

This is the wrong forum to ask this - hell, ANY forum pertaining to video games is the wrong place to ask this. Anyone who takes the time to go on an internet forum is NOT casual and is NOT the Wii's target audience.

 

Really, I think you should have asked how many people actually owned the consoles on the list. I mean, 'which console do you most use' is a bit of a loaded question if the household only contains 1 of the consoles in question.

A more revealing question would have been 'Who owns all of the current gen units', linked with 'which gets most use'. Even then its' not going to be a straight answer as there is always the possibility that someone uses a portable on their way to & from work each morning / evening and rarely has the time to use their PS3, 360 or Wii.

 

ps3 I d say, the other systems are still boxed from moving.

 

Asking which system gets the most playtime isnt gonna tell you installed user base. All this proves is that even the people with multiple systems ( like me:icon_bigg) play their 360's more. at least thats what the numbers so far are saying.

Let me ask a question.

Of all the exterior doors in your household, which is the one you leave your property by the most?

1) French patio doors
2) Back swing door
3) Front door
4) Garage door
5) Storm door

I leave by the front door, but I have a conservatory and could have said patio doors or garage. Of all the site users, without actually asking what they have in their house, how could you establish whether the front door was really the door of choice, or simply the only door?

There are plenty of people, including my neighbor who generally leaves their home by the back door because he walks his dog each morning and whilst he grabs a bit of toast he lets the dog mess around in the garden.

The people in the flats across from me have no choice but to use their front door. Doesn't mean they prefer it, it just means it's their only choice unless they want to climb out a window to their deaths.

All this is currently proving is that amongst those who answer, the 360 is the most commonly owned console. Thus far no surprise.
