If the Casio Loopy market has outgrown the Sega Saturn, we're truly fucked. Microsoft gets Japanese 2D shooters, Nintendo is shutting down the gates, the world how we know it... the dead will walk the earth et cetera, et cetera... I see that coming.

My local hard Off always has a good collection of Loopy crap as well as that Bandai thing.

Really? I'm buying the games for a friend of mine who's trying to complete a collection. He was so happy when he found a boxed Loopy... it was funny.

This may be the most awesome thing that I've found in a long time:

You are looking at a HAND MADE cover for a Famicom Disk game. That's right... HAND MADE. They only made one of these. Note the exacting detail on the Famidiskman. Look at the quality of design... a title belt and mahjong tiles... so simple, yet descriptive.

I like to think that maybe... just maybe... this was designed by God.

Oh, and it came with a disk that had Zanac on it.

I've always been under the impression that PCE was Japan's version of the UK's Mega Drive and PS1 in the sense they are ubiquitous. They can be had loose for less than £3 very commonly which I believe translates to 370 yen or so. Maybe I am wrong but PCE I think was very popular there.

Talking about PS1's being cheap and ubiquitous it seems maybe 3/10 you will get a chipped console if you buy one used. Especially in the UK. A few years ago I was doing bootsales every sunday and would reguarly come home with multiple £3 or less PS1's. Sometimes they even had the cables. When looking inside everytime I came home one was always chipped. Back then I was just testing and selling straight on for slightly more.

Great little pice of game history once again with packing tape sealing all the edges and seams. Then they put a price tags right on the box >< At least they're consistent.

Fmaicom sub-machine gun with force feedback (or so the box said). Super cool, but too rich for my blood before a trip TT
