The Legal age of consent is usually 16 in most parts of the world. 18 is the Play it safe anywhere age. Jojo is almost 21 also Ashley Tisdale
Had quite the crush on Ashley Tisdale when I was in year 7. Vanessa Hudgens was also quite hot IMO back then. (FYI I like High School Musical and the Twilight series.)
Used to be 12 in Mexico, but you had to be rich, and marry her if you got caught. Now it's 18, but nobody enforces it. I didn't know it was 16 anywhere, though.
So I went and read the wikipedia and I learned something today; Apparently, there is an age of consent. Just nobody can tell you what it is or what happens if you go under it. As long as it's over 12 to get married (WTF) and then some states have it at different ages (14, 15, 16?) - and even though federally it's 18, it's okay if she's over 16 and you didn't use deceit to "corrupt" them. Hell, it's even okay if it's 12-16 as long as you don't use that deceit - whatever the fuck it means. But if most American states have it at 16, why are people so often prosecuted when they have an affair with 17 year olds? Or is this just what I see in the media?
