    Possible? Yes.
Likely to be implemented? Doubt it. You'd need additional ethernet hardware and an ethernet phy (unless it was built into the ARM chip they're using), all of which makes the board much larger, need more code, consume more power and cost a lot more.

usb 2.0 is not bad for play game from pc. ethrnet possible. but it's not popular in such device.

next time maybe i use ARM w/ usb-host. so it's not necessary add eht on the board as there is usb-eth bridge in market.

I'm assuming that's a Gameshark case that it fits into?

Indeed it looks great. Liking the enclosure too, would be cool to see a blue model as well!

I saw on the previous board a request for chrono cross. It is a sequel to chrono trigger, and i play it quite a bit, so much that i had to replace my game discs once before. another request, Grandia?

Added to the ever growing list, my hardware is getting pretty outdated now. I'll give them a spin when I get a chance.
At the moment I'm moving house and I think my PS1s, PSIO and camera are in five different boxes :p

    The PSIO website is dead!

    Anything to worry about?

I still have my skepticism about things surrounding the project (mainly on a communication front, nothing about whether it's real or not. Which it is!).
Hopefully just a problem with the site.

It's actually linked above, but you can follow progress more closely here:

    http://www.psxdev.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=247&sid=53ca964222d07107f5aba275dd843834&start=260

I don't think there's anything to worry about, I'm guessing there are still a lot of issues to sort out. As we've seen from Retrojunkie's posts, it's still very much 'work in progress'.

new 2.0 revision works even better then 1.1...

we can send to RJ, but we wanna solve couple moments:
1- firmware update , w/o special cables, programmers. just by usb or from sd card
    2- menu, GUI
    3- CDDA/XA support

    but now is holidays.

w/o menu you need use pc (usb or rs232) to select/start game
w/o fw update - it limits capability, some games work , some doesn't,... you need send back for update fw

price : is not less than price of parts + profit.
