OMG Max Payne 3 announced !!!

Awesome! I loved the original. The second one I just powered through because the story was interesting. The gameplay was ok.
A current gen Max Payne is going to be SiCK!

 

thats awesome and all but didnt 3dr make max payne? is rockstar just publishing it or are they developing?

 

that'd be awesome if Rockstar was actually developing the game.

 

They might do. I think they did all the console ports of the first two games.

 

Remedy has made both Max Payne games, and Rockstar has been releasing their games since the console versions of Max Payne 1.

Anyway, I never thought the Max Payne games were anything special. After the novelty of the slo-mo thing and (for the time) impressive graphics wore off, you were just left with a boring third person shooter.

 

this is actually old news if you read between the lines on wikipedia=) good to know it's official though, looking forward to it.

 

This is great that its official, max payne 1 on the PC was and still is one of my all time favourite games and i did like the 2nd one as well so looking forward to this.

 

lol, try playing the game without using any slow-mo. it's soo lame compared to other 3rd person shooters.

 

Ooh, I loved the first and second one, even if they are sort of generic shooters with a gimmick...the storyline was great.

 

Funny thing, i still haven't played the 2nd one.

But i enjoyed the first one.

The second one wasn't horrible, it was just different in presentation. The story was cool. It had dickhead physics, you move and a million things go flying.

I'm pretty sure the appeal of Max Payne was the storyline and stuff.

Stranglehold has no anything. I guess the John Woo thing but who fucking cares. The game still wasn't that great.

 

I played through Max Payne 2, the story wasn't that awesome. Kind of predictable really.

 

The dream/crazy parts were pretty cool. I do prefer 1 though.

 

Am I the only one who prefers 2?
