Word is the game is being developed by Rockstar Vancouver. Original rumor was Rockstar Toronto was doing it (bummer they aren't). Remedy is too busy trying to get alan wake out the door. Small fyi, Remedy did Both Max Payne 1 & 2 PC. GOD games/3D Remls was the original IP holder and publisher but thoes were later sold off to Rockstar. Various Rockstar studios are responcible for the console ports. Me personaly, I liked 2 over one because the story and setup was much more developed and its use of physics & ragdoll were at the time really stunning (specialy since they game could still run on older pcs with out a hitch).
Some on here has probably noticed already but it just clicked in my head as i was just playing chinatown wars on the DS. It seems that they have used some max payne sound(s) or at least the sound when you throw a grenade.
