Screenshots, 16:9 Now Sega, about the camera.... http://www.flickr.com/photos/segaamerica/6790144034/in/photostream/
Never mind the 16:9 ratio... a real surprise is that JSR will be hitting the PC, too! Maybe they'll do the same for Shenmue I & II as well?
Apprently NullDC can upscale and Draw Extra geometry to make Dreamcast games run in 1080p HD Here's a video of somebody doing just that http://youtu.be/h79r3rtb2bQ

More info about the soundtrack http://www.gamertagradio.com/new/20...et-set-radio-hd-exclusive-interview-with-sega "Sega sent these exclusive tracklist of some the line-up of music for this version of Jet Set Radio HD. They’re still trying to hunt down the people who hold the licenses of these tracks. The original record labels no longer exist, artists aren’t performing anymore, etc. Stay tuned to “Yo Soy Danny Pena” for more updates about this game."
A lot of the music was in house so I think we'll be ok... I can't wait to play this over again in HD. That Dreamcast emulator mod is REALLY interesting...
http://www.gametrailers.com/side-mi...ful-to-dreamcast-original-with-a-few-changes/ Sounds good to me, we're getting most of the original music, and honestly, is anyone gonna miss the Rob Zombie song? I just hope the price is sane, and by that I mean at most 800 MS points...
I'm pleased to see they've gone with a full screen approach and found a way to fix the camera issues, but what's with those hints in the latest teaser video? Shenmue was probably the worst-kept secret ever, though I'm genuinely surprised that Skies of Arcadia was mentioned as well. Hopefully this will become yet another resurrected Dreamcast title for PC, PSN and XBLA, possibly due to Sega delaying its rumoured plan to focus in the future on the Saturn era... as for the absence of Rob Zombie from JSR's soundtrack, I certainly won't be losing sleep over this!
There is a total of *1* track on the US release not found on the JPN release that is worth losing sleep over. I forgot what it is though. EDIT: The gal on the phone conversation says Let Mom Sleep was relicensed. Wasn't that a Naganuma track? Ugh... you'd think those were a shoe-in... if they didn't retain the rights the whole time.
From what I can tell, the only songs missing from the original Japanese soundtrack will be any contributions by Deavid Soul, which actually leaves quite a large gap overall. I haven't seen any reports claiming Sega has attempted to fill this hole with new music, plus there's currently no mention of whether the two exclusive areas designed for the US and PAL versions will feature. Come to think of it, the "licensing issues" excuse may just be a good cover for Sega not wanting to bother including content from the later revised editions of JSR. Whatever the case, I'm pleased they've at least gone with a fullscreen display (rather than borders, as with Sonic Adventure) and created a solution to the notoriously bad camera... the signs are looking good for the rumoured Shenmue I & II pack! EDIT: I've read that Hideki Naganuma very recently left Sega - does anyone know if this is true?
Oh F*CK YES !!! http://www.gamereactor.eu/news/20311/Sega+teases+Shenmue's+XBLA/ Skies would be AWESOME !
The licensing issue would be a far bigger problem JSRF, honestly, but hey, not an issue for the moment. No clue, but I don't think it would be an issue for these games. It would suck for any future JSR-like game with his unique mish-mash of sounds though. Not really surprised though. Not much goes "my way" in the world of modern gaming. This HD release of JSR is about as good as it will get I'm sure.
